Fleur was established in Olivers restaurant before the wine industry in Central Otago had any commercial production.
Regularly a very small group of pioneer grape growers met in Olivers to discuss wine and grape growing, and when the first grapes were pressed, it was a very, very proud day for her to be able to hang out a sign:
